The participants have become active global EU citizens who care and take responsibility for environmental issues and engage with a like-minded community. Students who will be a new generation of water managers and decision-makers in the future have become aware of the importance of climate change on water, floods, and droughts, and have been able to apply a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to water resources. They have also obtained the knowledge, skills, and values to play a role in protecting the resources locally and globally. They had direct communication and took responsibility in a team consisting of peers from different nations, so they developed their self-confidence and ICT, foreign language, critical thinking, and creativity skills. They have also gained the ability to organize social groups and collaborate with them. The students stayed with their host families and learned Italian culture and lifestyle, so they both got rid of their prejudices against different nations and also developed their soft skills.
